Where Are They Now?
Many students pass through our doors and go onto various professional careers
in the work force. It is with pride that since we first opened our doors in 1980, we have had more than over 5000 students that have at some stage been an R.V.D.A. dancer.
It is nice to know that their time with RVDA was of a positive influence in their life, no matter how many years they danced with the Academy.
Credits include: Premiers Awards for Excellence in Dance for VCE, Performances for World Rugby Cup, Fashion Parades, Cecchetti Scholars, Charity Performances, students accepted into the Australian Ballet Company and School, Victorian College of the Arts,. Students trained for entry to full time courses and teaching degrees. Many former RVDA students have gone on to open their own dance facility, performed in Amateur Theatre Companies and continue to be an extended arm of RVDA.
Many of our past students are now florishing in the Theatre, Dance, Performing Arts Industry, and Education Field.
Yet our biggest credit of all is that we have worked with many disabled, disadvantaged children as well, such as Downs Syndrome, Deaf and vision impaired and physically limited
